Terms of Use

These terms govern access to and use of bitproperty.eu. By using the site you accept them.

1. Who we are

BitProperty is operated by:

NIPC 517074028 · real-estate mediation licence AMI 25027 (IMPIC)
Rua Dom Francisco Manuel de Melo, n.º 5B, 1070-085 Lisboa, Portugal

2. What the site does

The site publishes property for sale and information about buying property, including purchases funded from crypto-assets. Its content is for information only and is not an offer, an official valuation, or legal, tax or investment advice.

3. Listing information

Listings are new-development projects published by developers in Cyprus and partner agencies, and are updated automatically.

Prices, areas, layouts, photos, completion dates and availability can change without notice and may contain errors. Before any decision, confirm the details with us and check the official documents of the project (title deed or building permit, sale contract, specification).

4. Purchases funded from crypto-assets

BitProperty does not accept, hold, exchange or transfer crypto-assets. Where a purchase is funded from crypto, the conversion to euro is carried out by an authorised crypto-asset service provider under its own terms, and the seller is paid in euro. Identity checks and documented source of funds are required by law. Exchange rates, fees and the acceptance of any particular asset are set by that provider; we do not guarantee them.

5. Acceptable use

The following are not allowed:

  • extracting, copying or reproducing content systematically, including by automated means, without written permission;
  • using the site for unlawful purposes or to send unsolicited communications;
  • trying to access restricted areas or to compromise the security or operation of the service.

6. Intellectual property

The BitProperty name and logo, texts and the site's design belong to the operator; listing photos and descriptions belong to their owners. They may not be used without permission.

7. External links

The site links to third-party sites, such as agencies, developers, official registers and guides. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it.

8. Personal data and cookies

Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy; cookies as described in the Cookie Policy.

9. Liability

We work to keep the site available, accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is free of interruptions or errors. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for decisions taken only on the basis of information published on the site without confirming it first.

10. Complaints and disputes

You can file a complaint in the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico (the Portuguese electronic complaints book).

In a consumer dispute you may use the competent alternative dispute-resolution bodies under Portuguese Law n.º 144/2015 of 8 September.

11. Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated; the version on this page applies. Portuguese law applies, and the courts of Lisbon have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
